For a business, the floor is a schedule question first. We plan the coating and the install around when your space can be down, and for how long.
Warehouses, auto shops, commercial kitchens, showrooms and medical spaces each need something different from a floor: forklift traffic, hot fluids, chemical spills, or a clean, bright finish customers see. We match the coating to the use, then plan the work in phases, at night or over weekends if that keeps you open.
Every commercial job starts with a site visit to check slab moisture, existing coatings and traffic. You get a written scope with the cure schedule laid out, so you know when each area is back in service.
We are open 24 hours, which makes it easier to reach us and to schedule work outside your business hours. To get a site visit on the calendar, request a free estimate.
The first question on a commercial floor is how long each area can be out of use. We walk the space with you, mark the traffic routes, and split the floor into sections that can close one at a time. Racking, equipment and fixtures that cannot move get worked around and noted in the scope.
Coated areas need time before they take traffic. Foot traffic can usually return after about 24 hours, and full use, including vehicles and heavy loads, after about 3 to 7 days depending on temperature. Those times go into the written scope for each phase so your team can plan deliveries, shifts and customer access.
Many businesses cannot close during the day. We can grind and coat after hours or over a weekend so the space is ready to walk on when your staff comes back. Larger floors usually run over several nights or weekends, one phase at a time.
Grinding is loud and produces dust, so we contain the work area and use dust collection on the grinders. We go over noise, ventilation and access with you before the first night so nothing surprises your team or your neighbors.
A warehouse floor takes turning forklift tires, pallet jacks, dropped loads and constant sweeping. An auto shop adds oil, brake fluid, coolant and hot parts. A commercial kitchen adds hot water, grease, cleaning chemicals and daily washdowns. The coating system and its thickness are chosen for that use, and the prep is the same on every job: a diamond ground slab with damaged concrete repaired first.
Tell us what gets spilled or used on the floor and we will match the coating to it. Joints and cracks in traffic lanes get repaired before coating so forklift wheels are not hitting a broken edge.
Walkways, forklift lanes, parking stalls, loading zones and keep-clear areas around panels and exits can all be marked as part of the job. Building the lines into the coating schedule saves a separate shutdown later.
Areas that get wet or greasy, like kitchens, wash bays and entries, can have slip texture added to the coating. We talk through where traction matters most and balance it against how easy the floor needs to be to clean.
We coat floors in warehouses and distribution space, auto and equipment shops, restaurants and commercial kitchens, retail stores and showrooms, gyms, and medical and office spaces across the Jackson metro. See the towns we cover on our service areas page.
For a showroom or retail floor where appearance matters most and traffic is lighter, concrete floor polishing is another option worth comparing, and it usually puts the space back in use the same day. We can walk through both during the site visit.
Most commercial buildings here sit on slab-on-grade concrete, and moisture vapor rises through it, more so after heavy rain. Too much moisture under a coating can cause blistering and loss of bond, so we test before we coat. Much of the metro also sits on Yazoo clay, which swells and shrinks and can crack slabs over time.
Heat and humidity affect how coatings cure. In summer we schedule mixing and application for cooler hours where possible and watch the slab temperature against the dew point. Unconditioned warehouses and shops need that planning most, and it is built into the schedule we give you.

Yes. Walkways, forklift lanes and zone markings can go in as part of the job.
Yes, when the slab is diamond ground, damaged areas are repaired and the coating is built to the right thickness for the traffic. We size the system after seeing the floor and how it is used.

It depends on the square footage, slab condition, repair needed, the coating system and the schedule. We visit the site and give you a free written estimate with the scope laid out.
Every floor carries our workmanship guarantee. Where the coating product carries manufacturer coverage, we pass that along too.
